Panda Cloud Pro Antivirus (FREE! for 48 Hours)

Panda Security is endeavoring towards making their security tools best amongst the available products in the market, and now the lightweight security suite is joined by a Web filter that will, in addition to a web browser’s native protection techniques, scan URLs (Uniform Resource Locators). And this will work perfectly for most common browsers including Opera, IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome (as stated in the editor’s document). I don’t have any prior experience with the suite, but I am definitely going to give a try.

As part of a 48 hours PROMO, CNET has provided a link on their site for users to download Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro 1.3 from their site with a genuine license for a year. You do not have to pay a single penny.

To do the download, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Visit CNET.com and review the Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro 1.3
2. Look for the editor’s note there
3. Fill up your credentials. Remember to provide correct email address for you are going to receive the license key there.
4. Go for the download.

I recommend you to follow the steps before you install the antivirus:
1. Download the antivirus.
2. Uninstall your current antivirus (to avert any clashes to access system resources)
3. Restart the computer, and then install the Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro 1.3.

This offer lasts until Friday (29-10-2010), and I just learned about the offer and immediately put it in here. Whether the license will work for activation after Friday, I am not sure about, but I recommend that interested users to do the activation latest by Friday itself.
